Conservation Planning & Wildland Recreation


Course Description

This course will explore the topics of land use planning and wildland recreation management from a variety of perspectives.  It approaches the topics mainly from the perspective of the social sciences but strives to balance this with other perspectives. In addition to the knowledge based components, this course also seeks to help you to develop the practical interpersonal skills you will need to be an effective participant in the debate regarding how we move forward as a society.
